Why Sing with The Presence Effect Choir?
Singing is a powerful gateway to presence. It engages the whole body, deepens breath awareness, and activates our intuitive mind, slowing mental chatter and heightening sensory awareness. Through lyrics and sound, we connect with emotions on an energetic level, and when our voices are heard—especially in harmony with others—we feel seen, supported, and uplifted. Singing releases natural feel-good chemicals, and when combined with presence, it becomes an even more transformative practice, helping us access inner stillness and feel more fully alive.

Do I need to be a confident singer?

Not at all. Songs are taught by ear. No sheet music needed.
All voices welcome – even if you’ve never sung in harmony.
Options for every comfort and ability level.

When does the choir take place?

It starts on Monday 2nd June, 6-7.30pm running for the half term
until Monday 14th July, before starting again in the Autumn term.

5:45–6:00pm: A relaxed informal welcome to unwind from your day

6:00–7:00pm: Breathing exercises and
gentle physical/vocal warmups moving into song in all its forms.

7-7.15pm: Relaxation and chat.

What do I need to bring?
